I TOTALLY TRUST DR ELLIE, AFTER 50 YEARS OF ADVICE I NEVER HAD THEM EXPLAIN DENTAL HYGIENE LIKE HER. TWO YEARS INTO THE PROGRAM AND TEETH FEEL GOOD. MY MOUTH DOES HOLE FOOD AFTER EATING AND I HAVE TO FLOSS INBETWEEN TEETH ONLY TO REMOVE THEM. AND IF I USE IRRAGATION ITS ON LOW PRESSURE INBETWEEN TEETH ALSO.
The flavor is nice, but the consistency of these mints is a little different than the Cool Mint. These ones seem to crumble apart easier and sooner than the Cool Mint. I wish they held together longer like the other mints.
The spearmint flavor is great, but only for a short period of time. After that, the gum is “dead.” I was hoping the flavor would last longer.

If you choose to use the xylitol gum, it is important to not chew it for more than 10 minutes because then your saliva stimulates digestive enzymes, which will counteract the benefits of the mineral-rich saliva. For best results, limit gum chewing to 2-10 minutes. In addition, our gum and mints are made with natural flavors and no additives, so the flavor will not last as long as some other brands that use artificial flavors or preservatives.
